Norco Sight: New Chain Ring and Chain Guide

I've just got  two new components for my Norco Sight: chainring (e13 Guidering, M Profile, 32T) and  chain guide (e13 XCX Top Guide Black BB Mount).
I've changed my 34T Race Face NW chainring for another one, because 34T was too much for me. 34T chainring was good with 26" wheels of my previous trail bike. Norco Sight has bigger wheels, that's why I've decided to change the chainring for 32T (e13 Guidering, M Profile). A weight of the ring is aproximately 45gr.

Narrow Wide or M Profile chainrings keep a chain in its place much better than ordinary single rings, but they don't give you 100% guarantie, that's why I use chain guide for the season 2015. E13 XCX Top Guide is very simple and lightweight (aproximately 60gr).

Norco Sight  2014 comes with BB to ISCG 05 adapter and its weight is about 25 grams, that's why installation of XCX Top chain guide (BB mount) adds only (60-25=35) 35gr to the hole weight of my bike.

  1. Is there a big difference between 32T and 34T?

    1. There's no much difference. 34t on 26er bike is the same as 32t on a bike with 27.5 wheels. It is my compromise between max speed and climbing abilities.
