All of My Mountain Bikes: Stark, FireEye, Specialized, Corratec, Norco...

Here are side pics of my mountain bikes since 2007.

Stark Pusher I (2007-2008). This is my first MTB Hardtail.

FireEye Griffin (2009-2010). This is my first dual suspension bike.

Specialized Big Hit III (2010-2013). This is my best downhill bike. I enjoyed riding Big Hit very very much, but there's no mountains close to me, that's why it was sold.

Corratec X-Force 0.3 (2013-2014). My first trail bike. Thanks to X-Force, I've understood that climbing can be exciting too.

Norco Sight A 7.2 (2014-2019). My best mountain bike at the moment. Now I've got a bike with proper size and geometry for both uphills and downhills. This is not the latest photo, many of the components will be changed for the lighter and more reliable ones.

  1. wow, what a collection of bikes! I got two bikes now: GT Zaskar 29 and Norco Sight both 2014 models. There is snow outside I am doing some riding on my 29er and meticulously cleaning it after every ride.

    2. i got a question: So you had all these bikes. Do you think you have finally found the perfect bike for you? That is Norco Sight.

    3. Hi Oleo! Yes, I really think that Norco Sight is the best bike for me now. It is the most universal and convenient bike, I ever had. I'm going to ride this bike till 2019 (the end of warranty), cause I promised this to my wife :). Actually I will be happy to own a carbon 29er, to try myself in XC races, and some 180/180 dh/park bike for fun

i think fat bikes are getting more interesting these days, especially during winter.

    1. Nice bike! I hope I will have opportunity to try it one day. I've tried riding 26x4.0" fat bike, and I've decided that this type of a bike is only for fun and not for serious riding )

    2. also want to try it. i have read that fat tires give you insane grip. and you can slowly climb almost anything. better fat bikes than road bikes. but thats just me

  3. hey, man, i have weighted the Manitou Minute fork. It weights 2.0 kg. important thing is that the FSA headset is ball bearings. the lowest ring which contacts the fork is made out of steel and is prone to rust. If i were you i would have a look at it.

    1. *FSA headset has ball bearings (not sealed bearings) in it.

    2. Hey! What is a diameter of the balls in a lower cup? If they are rather big, I don't care. I've been using ball bearing headsets on many of my bikes and didn't experience any problems. The only important thing is that you must grease the balls occasionally.
Thanks for the information! It is time to put some grease into my headset )

    3. Our Manitou fork is rather simple and heavy, but I'm satisfied with its work. I think that I will use it for couple of seasons, and then will change it for something better.

    4. i am experimenting with the geometry here: I have installed 29" Reba with 100mm of travel (from my Zaskar). Head angle is changed of course but in practice the bike still rocks. Became faster and climbs easier. The Sight's frame is a versatile, good frame. I really want to know the weight of the frame.(weigh it myself)

    5. forgot to mention that Reba weighs 1.7 kg

    6. Sorry man, i did not measure the diameter of the balls in the lower bearing. I will try to do it next time.

    7. Why there's no pic of Sight with Reba at your Google+ ?
