Norco Sight A 7.2 2014 comes with Kenda Honey Badger Sport 27.5x2.2 tyres with 60TPI casing. These are rather lightweight foldable tyres for dry conditions. They easily become tubeless with "ghetto tubeless" method. I like them very much and I'll use Kenda Honey Badger Sport tyres for training and cross country riding, but for enduro competitions I will buy more agressive tyres with protected sidewalls.
Kenda Honey Badger Sport 27.5x2.2 (650B) tyre weight is approximately 680-690grams (1.5lbs).

Awesome! I dont even have to weigh mine! :)
ReplyDeleteHey, Van, i have to ask you something important for me. The stock Joytech Hubs. I hope you still have them lying around. Can you check if the front hub has rubber seals, because i am afraid my front hub does not have any seals. It could be a warranty issue. Thank you a lot!
ReplyDeleteHey. I don't see any rubber seals. Just metal caps: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-QKtEHx9SGJE/VG4Lz1y4tDI/AAAAAAAAAko/l3qOScRN0WU/w877-h583-no/DSC02008.JPG
DeleteThanks, man! I have just disassembled the front. Theses hubs are really crappy. There is a rubber seal in there but it is microscopic. It will hardly protect from anything. I need new wheels too.
