Finally i've upgraded my lovely Specialized Big Hit 2010 with better brakes (Avid Code), forks (Marzocchi RC3), rear derailleur (SRAM X7) and Truvativ Holzfeller crankset. Now my Big Hit meets all my requirements. Avid Code has a very good braking power. Marzocchi RC3 fork works very well for me despite it's a little bit heavy. SRAM X7 derailleur with a short cage is a perfect compromise between price and quality. Holzfeller cranks do their job, they don't creak, they are very hard and not too heavy.

A Little Bit of DH Riding at Kurgan
There is a XC ski center in the middle of our city called Kurgan. There are few trails which could be barely called "DH trails". Alt difference of the hill is only 40 meters and there is no any elevator.
Here are some pics at Kurgan in june 2011:

Video: "Devil's Chair" Mountain Bike Trail in Karelia, Russia
"Devil's Chair" mountain bike trail in Karelia, Russia.
This is a video of my friend hitting the trail with his Specialized Big Hit 1 2009. Rather simple trail, but it is the longest one close to our city. Its length is 700m, and altitude difference is about 90m. Unfortunately there's no mountains in our region.
This is my first try in making video.

My Brand New Specialized Big Hit 2010 Custom!!
Spring had come and I've got some time to take pics of my brand new Specialized Big Hit. I've bought it as a frame and built a bike using components of my old Fireeye Griffin.
Specialized Big Hit 2010 frame
Fox DHX 4.0 shock
Marzocchi 888 RCV forks
Tioga Factory DH single ply tyres
WTB Dual Duty FR rims
SRAM X.5 Transmission
Da Bomb 750mm handlebar
Avid Juicy 5 disk brakes
FSA crankset and Wellgo MG-1 pedals.
--
weight is about 19kg
Heavy for a MTB DH bike, but it is not a problem to decrease weight changing some heavy components.

Video: Mini Spy Camera Under the saddle of my DH MTB Bike
One more test of mini spy car key chain camera.
I've mounted the camera under the saddle with the help of scotch tape. An angle of view of the camera is rather narrow for this type of video, but you can check out the work of my Marzocchi 66 fork. This is a trail from my district to downtown, and my old Fireeye Griffin mtb freeride bike.

Bender at Pump Track. MTB Pump Track Contest
MTB Pump Track contest in Petrozavodsk, summer 2010. This is the first Pump Track in our city. It is rather small, but it is build with concrete. I didn't participate in this contest cause my 19kg dual suspension bike was not good enough for this type of track.
Just a test video of my Mini Spy Car Key Chain Camera DVR Video Audio Recorder.
